💬 Public Rhetoric

Roads And Traffic

"The committee makes a huge difference in safety around our schools, for everybody that's travelling in those areas."

Roads And Traffic

"the one area you did mention, and an area that I believe the region appeal regardless of. Whether. There are some changes in who delivers what services. One of the things that Peel has been a leader in. And the chair will back me up on this has been the Peel goods movement task force and I certainly hope that regardless of what happens in how services may be realigned, that we continue. The region appeal continues. It's very strong advocacy role around a goods movement, I think Mr. Chair, you said to me it's a billion dollars a day. 2 billion a day that either is within or goes through the region. Appeal of goods and services that is by far the largest amount anywhere in this country. And that's a very important part of our economy and what we need to keep focused and be involved on."

Admin General Overhead

"Well, only to mention that there are several motions that myself and Councillor Hornick have put forward. For tomorrow's regional Councillor budget meeting, so I hope you'll all have a chance. To take a look at those, and I certainly hope we'll have your support. It is. Likely we will need a little bit of support from our friends and at least one. Of the other municipalities to make sure they pass. But they do deal with budget items in particular at the region, and I certainly would hope to. Have Mississauga councilor's support for those."
